Nollywood film features 1000 all-female cast

Lagos - Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi, is set to break records with her  forthcoming Yoruba  movie, which will feature a  1 000 all-female cast, reports AllAfrica

The historical film titled 'M'odorisa’ will be  made up mostly of upcoming actresses, and some major faces like Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), Peju Ogunmola, Tayo Odueke, Kemi Afolabi, among others.

According to Afolabi, it is a film about Yoruba cultural heritage which encourages people to stay true to their roots.

Afolabi also revealed that she has been on the project for two years, and that it is also an avenue to provide a platform for talented upcoming actors who don't have the opportunity to feature in movies. 

The shoot of the movie, which is produced by Olasco Films, will begin in the first week of April, and will be shot on location in Ilaro, Ogun State.
