Nollywood producer charged to court for phone theft

Lagos - Movie Producer Seun Egbegbe has been charged to court for phone theft, reports Pulse.ng

The CEO was on Tuesday November 22, 2016, arrested at Computer village, Ikeja for allegedly stealing 9 iPhones.

In earlier reports, eyewitnesses said Egbegbe went to a certain Keelcech Innovations Store, took some iPhone 7 and iPhone 6 plus mobile phones, told the sales girl he was coming, and then crossed to enter his car.

Following this, the producer was beaten by a mob and taken to the police station.

Egbegbe released a statement denying the allegations, but it was revealed on November 23, 2016, that he was still in Police custody.

He's presently at the Magistrate court in Ikeja according to Lagos state Police PRO, Dolapo Badmus, "After Discreet Police Investigation and two nights in custody, Seun Egbegbe has been charged to court for stealing."

Seun Egbegbe was portrayed by merchants as a notorious thief who uses charms on people before stealing by  a cross section of traders at Computer village
