Nonso Diobi denies begging for N150 million ransom

18 May 2016, 17:26

Lagos - Nollywood actor Nonso Diobi has spoken out  about his name being used for criminal purposes, reports Bellanaija

An  Instagram account with the handle @nonsodiobi1 made a call to fans to help him out as his sister and nephew had been kidnapped.

He stated that the kidnappers are asking for 150 million naira and he needs the help of his fans to gather that sum.

Hopefully nobody fall victim to this scam because 2 weeks ago the actual Instagram account of Nonso Diobi made a post dissociating him from that particular account and other accounts. He wrote:

“Hi everyone, pls note: nonsodiobiofficial, nonsodiobi1, realnonsodiobi, nonsodiobiworld or any other form of my name on instagram, twitter or facebook is all fake and fraudulent accounts. No matter how authentic they look, disregard their posts and report. I’ve never used more than one acct on any social media. Thanks. 1Love”

His fans are currently calling on him to make a public video further dissociating him from other fake accounts because according to them, some of them have fallen victim to the scam even on Twitter.
