Oshogbo - The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Thursday gave his royal support and backing to the efforts of Osun Government to host this year’s World Tourism Day, reports Pulse.ng
The Ooni expressed the support in Ile-Ife when Olajumoke Bello, the Permanent Secretary of Osun Ministry of Information, Home Affairs, Tourism and Culture, paid him a courtesy visit at his palace.

The monarch noted that the state was richly endowed with quality tourist sites which, if well-packaged and publicized, were capable of boosting the state’s economy via the influx of tourists from all over the world.
He said that Gov. Rauf Aregbesola was passionately interested in developing the entire state, including its tourism potential, adding, however, that his administration could not do it alone without the active support of the people.
