Promoter fights Obesere over breach of contract

Lagos - Fuji musician, Abass Akande also known as Obesere has landed himself in another round of trouble, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET).

The Ibadan, Oyo State-born musician, who was once accused of  rape, is reportedly being accused by a music marketer and promoter, Taofeek Bello Abefe, of an alleged breach of contract.

Taofeek had approached Obesere to record a pop album for him which the latter agreed.

It was alleged that the agreement between the Obesere and Taofeek was for the promoter to release the videos from the album on a CD.

The video of Obesere’s new song, Ebelesua which featured Olamide was released on YouTube, which resulted in a breach of contract.

The marketer is allegedly  accusing Obesere of leaking the video of his new song, ‘Ebelesua’ which featured Olamide on YouTube as against their agreement.

The marketer has reportedly threatened to file a lawsuit against the prolific fuji musician.
