Reekado Bank’s debut album tops iTunes World Music Chart

Lagos - Reekado Banks’ 'Spotlight'  finds its way up to number one on the iTunes World Music Chart.

The singer released the album today September 1, after hosting industry stakeholders to the album listening on Wednesday,  in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Don Jazzy revealed the development via his Instagram page – “Reekaddicts don’t play, Spotlight already number one on iTunes World Music Chart. Thanks guys Mavin”.

Reekado’s “Spotlight” sits pretty at number one, closely followed by Reminisce’s “El-Hadj”.

The album produced by the Mavin in-house producers Altims and Baby Fresh features acts like Banky W, Sean Tizzle, DJ Cuppy, DJ Spinall, Jay Jay Okocha, Dr Sid, Korede Bello, D’Prince, Vanessa Mdee, and has been dubbed "the best album you'll hear in the next 10 years or have heard in the last decade" by Banks.
