Runtown performed in US despite court order

Lagos -  Singer Runtown went ahead with his scheduled performance in Oakland, California on Saturday, June 4, 2016 despite a court order, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET)

The battle between Nigerian pop star, Runtown and his record label Eric Manny took a new turn on Friday June 3, 2016 when United States District Judge, Kiyo A. Matsumo issued a temporary injunction, on behalf of Eric Manny Ltd. against Runtown and his manager, Bugu Aneto Okeke, barring all U.S. performances and appearances by the Nigerian pop star.

However, word got out that Runtown who is currently in the United States went ahead with his scheduled performance in Oakland, California on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

It was revealed that Runtown is yet to be served with the court injunction, as  he was airborne on his way to the United States when the injunction was given and as at the time of his performance, he had not been served with the court papers.
