Lagos - In a recent interview veteran actor and film maker, Adebayo Salami who is popularly called Oga Bello says he prefers to feature in Yoruba movies than English-speaking movies, reports Pulse.ng
According to the actor, he is more interested in promoting the Yoruba culture, and will pick to star in a Yourba film that will pay him N200 000 over an English film that will pay him N1million for a role.
Salami featured in the first Yoruba film, "Ajani Ogun," which also starred the late Adeyemi Afolayan as the lead character.
He earned the name Oga Bello for his role in the popular Nigerian comedy series "Comedy half hour."
