Sound Sultan releases visuals for 'African Lady'

15 August 2016, 17:07

Lagos - Just hours after the premiere of Sound Sultan’s new single African Lady featuring , Phyno and  Flavour, he has released a video to compliment the song.

In the video, the beauty of the African woman is showcased and highly praised, as it should be.

African Lady by Sound Sultan is a combination of the two major languages from the Western and Eastern regions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The video is a throwback to how we watched TV in the 80s which is represented in the fashion as well – bomber jackets, sleeveless leather jackets and more.

With a backdrop of how stories were told back in the days – The African Lady Show. Phyno comes through with his energetic rap lines in igbo of course and Flavour does his thing on the hook.

With cameos from the song’s producer, TY Mix, AY the Comedian and other artists as well a representation of Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, South African and Efik ladies – funny video.

The energetic video is directed by Adasa Cookey for Squareball Media.
