Tiwa Savage and Teebillz will remain married

Lagos - Singer and Mavin’s first lady,Tiwa Savage confirmed that her two year marriage to Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun was over, but the couple will remain legally married for up to 18 months or more, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET).

While there is no evidence online that they had a court wedding, sources inside the Mavin camp insist the pair did have a secret court wedding, which  probably lead to divorce proceedings.

The courts in Nigeria are  notorious for their delays, which might make the divorce  process  take a long time.

 ‘It’s finally over. It’s been over for a while and I’ve covered up for a while. I think what happened is God-sent because he’s made it easy for me to walk away because of what he did on social media.’  She said.
