Lagos - At the ongoing 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival, Nollywood will be represented in the short film corner by Stanlee Ohikhuare’s 'Iterum' and Baba Agba’s 'Erased'
'Iterum' is a 15-minute film that revolves around Ireti played by Kiki Omeili and Kome played by Paul Utomi, who have their fates interwoven upon their rather enchanting first encounter. Their attraction is based on the unknown as they go on a journey of discovery; peeling off layers of secrets and inhibitions till they both stand bare before each other. Then one of them seeks the unknown again.
“Erased” tells the story of Grace, a young married woman in Lagos, Nigeria that is being abused by her husband Paul and when her best friend Mercy arranges for her to escape her husband’s abusive nature things get crazy.
The film features Tope Tedela, Ade Laoye, Udoka Oyeka, Diana Yekinni and Seun Ajayi.
