Lagos - It seems popular Nollywood actor Ali Nuhu has seen the error in his earlier statement on the ban of Rahama Sadau from acting.
Recall that Rahama had been banned from appearing in films in Kannywood by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) because of her appearance in a video by rapper Classiq.
Ali Nuhu waded into the matter and said “I think that the ban is logical. She belongs to Kannywood, started her career in Kannywood and has violated the ethics and code of conduct of Kannywood by holding hands and falling on the guy’s back.”

But after the backlash he got for that statement, the well-known actor has changed his view on the issue.
He said in a recent interview that the ban was not fair. He also revealed that the ban may soon be reconsidered.
“I think that her expulsion is too rigid. If it was like giving her a warning or placing her on suspension, I can understand but expelling someone from her profession, I don’t think it’s fair. I have spoken to some Excos of Kannywood. I think they are going to reconsider it,” he said.
