5 sex mysteries explained

30 September 2016, 11:03

Abuja – Have you ever had an awkward experience in bed that left you thinking: I wish someone told me that before I tried it?

Here are four common misconceptions that often come up during a romp in the sack, as rounded up by Cosmopolitan.

1.       Sex is more fun when you’re sober

Sure, drinking can limber up your stiff self-esteem, but it actually makes you suck (not the good way) at sex. You’re clumsy, gross and not as smooth with words as you think. Also, having a working memory can help you save some sweet personalised porn into your head’s hard drive.

2.       Don’t go barging in there

The clitoris might be the greatest invention to feature on the human body, but don’t overdo it with direct contact as it might be too intense and make your lover feel uncomfortable. Skirt around it...

3.       Changing positions is always weird

Things hang, they shake and you look like you’re getting off a horse. It’s awful, unless you’re as graceful as a ballerina. Kudos to you then.

4.       Your sex personality is not your real personality

Just because your lover likes to be demeaned with nasty names and a little rough grabbing in bed, it doesn’t mean you should extend that to other parts of the relationship. Come on, it’s playtime.

5.       You probably won’t orgasm together

In Hollywood edits this happens all the time, but the truth is it doesn’t in real life. Unless you’re a master who can time yours to your lover’s climax. Well played again, then.
