'Sex please' rejection list goes viral

23 July 2014, 15:32

Abuja - Technology inevitably makes an impact on our lives, but one sexually frustrated husband took it to the next level with a spreadsheet that charted his wife's apparent excuses for not wanting to have sex with him.

The anonymous wife uploaded the spreadsheet to Reddit and it has been reported by a number of sources, including The Telegraph

She explained her reasoning for sharing the very personal nature of their lives on social media.

"Yesterday morning, while in a taxi on the way to the airport, husband sends a message to my work e-mail which is connected to my phone," she wrote.

"He's never done this, we always communicate in person or by text. I open it up, and it's a sarcastic diatribe basically saying he won't miss me for the 10 days I'm gone.

"Attached is a spreadsheet of all the times he has tried to initiate sex since June 1st, with a column for my 'excuses', using verbatim quotes of why I didn't feel like having sex at that very moment."

Among the excuses listed on the spreadsheet are "I'm exhausted" and "I feel gross" which a number of couples might be able to relate to.

There is also a rejection listed as "Non verbal" which is perhaps less clear, but the list is moreover an indicator of a relationship in trouble.
