I don't binge on sugary stuff, maybe chocolate, but not that often and I tend to save my sweet things for a rainy day (sometimes they grow little furry things because I forget that I have it).
Fortunately, I enjoy sugar in my coffee and tea... which isn't very often as I easily forget to add sugar (three times at most a day if I remember tea time).
My all-time, never quit item I will not give up under any circumstances is ice-cream. Not the frilly kind with fruit and chocolate, just plain homemade ice-cream, not vanilla or what-have-you. Literally, a bit of milk and majority cream frozen...
Having said that it doesn't hurt to add the odd chocolate and fruity stuff every now and again...
You only live once so don't skimp on the things you enjoy (unless you have health problems, seriously reconsider that statement!). - Adaka
Actually, I’m right on Cath’s bandwagon. Sugar bad, m'kay! Whole foods are the way to go. Which is just sooo sad, because there is bread, chips and biscuits. Need I say more?
Ah well, I’m ever hopeful of fitting into size 10 skinny jeans. - Lami
There is nothing as confusing as the dos and don’ts centered around food. One day – no choices, next day, hey presto dark choices is okay. The wine issue is the one that REALLY makes my blood boil – day one, a red wine a day keeps your heart happy – BUT day two, this daily tipple can now give you breast cancer. Go figure. Cancer is one of those diseases with no single cause.
Make up your minds already – I have extremely bad whiplash trying to keep up. So today, I have made the choice, never to listen again – from now on and take everything in moderation!
So no, I will NEVER give up my pasta, but I will ensure that I only eat a handful of CheeseNaks and I will have a glass of wine when my body lusts after a drop. - Kemi
