A change in political practice

05 September 2013, 13:45

Stop funding political parties now. We over budget on the military and it cost us hundreds of billions of naira and political tugs. We are about to privatized our roads to get unending tolls. We privatized our utilities and we got higher electric prices.

Now we just privatize our education
system, which has now monopolized for profit, and sky rocketing costs educational system. We have neglected health and now the government hospital surgeon builds hospitals and charges ordinary citizen N180,000 per surgical operation, we privatized TV and now DSTV is charging N13,000 per month for relay & immoral BBA programs.

CBN introduce bank reforms which has lead commercial banks only to give loans to hotels owners thereby increasing our societal immorality. Instead of decent society, Just like everything else has sky rocketed. It's a race to the bottom. high institution practice illegal autonomy e.g yabatech to conduct POSTUTME FOR 175,264 @N3,500 each application LASPOTECH 75,985 @N2,700 UNIBEN 60,282 @N2,300, UNILAG 10,250 postgraduate applicant charge N25,000 per applicant for interview, education of number instead of standard. Soon they sell will forms with automatic admissions for highest bidders.

Nigerians should be courageous to face reality rather than the fear of being used as an example of human rights abuses now: our problem is not only to review all three arms of government salaries but to practice what we can manage. Just few days ago the federal government sold bonds of $3 billions US dollar. We need stop duplicating function/scrap ministries and ministers similarly repeated by state executives: we should request for a change in political practice e.g Nigeria should be reduce to five equal regions with unicameral legislation with 5 legislative members; create & genuinely empower legislative houses at every council to address domestic violence, govt. civil servant & private sector or ordinary citizen genuine equality i.e to prevent civil servants, police, Armed forces, political hoodlums, landowners, etc. harassing innocent citizens .

We should stop formal and serving member of the forces from occupying political post so for them to focus on their discharge of duties so to allow fair political atmosphere and to stop circulation of weapons within vigilantes which may lead to anarchy in future or create controllable council sheriff.

Education: create separate exams body each for science, art, commercial, technical & teachers twice a year for student of Nursery, primary, secondary & teachers, remove faculties of education from universities and upgrade college of education to university of education, integrate polytechnics into existing universities, federal institution should train only master and doctorate, state institution should train only undergraduate, standard professional organization should be created to certified, develop & replace ministries and refine our mineral resources Develop advance agricultural practice.they should also be allow to act as recruitment agencies.
