The All Progressives Grand Alliance Southern Africa Chapter (APGA SA) has condemned the continued killing of innocent citizens in Northern Nigeria by a terrorist group called Boko Haram as he called on the newly elected President Buhari to find immediate solution this menace which is deadly and ravishing our communities.
APGA SA made this call through the Chairman, Engr. Henry Onyekumnaru who described the actions of the sect as barbaric and in humane. According to news in the the media, in Kano, Boko Haram carried out a fresh wave of massacres in northeastern Nigeria on Friday, killing nearly 200 people in 48 hours of violence President Muhammadu Buhari blasted as "inhuman and barbaric".
Shockingly, within the last 72 hours, the militants have staged multiple attacks across restive Borno state, gunning down worshippers at evening Ramadan prayers, shooting women in their homes, and dragging men from their beds in the dead of night. Even a young female suicide bomber also killed 12 worshippers while blowing herself up in a mosque in Borno. Yesterday, it was a pastor and some worshipers who died in an attack in a church in Borno. In Jos,Plateau state, 46 people died.

Onyekumnaru also described the relocation of 47 Boko Haram inmates to Ekwuluobia, Anambra state despite the citizens demonstrations and cry including Governor Obiano's plea for the federal government to rescind the decision due the implications of the security situation of the prison as being insensitive to the feelings of the governed. According to him, " despite the fact that the prison is a federal government prison, the fact that the prison is not a maximum prison warrants that care should be taken to either upgrade it before relocating such sensitive and classified inmates to such a place. Besides such moves should be classified and not leaked to the public".
APGA SA further call on President Buhari to immediately relocate theses inmates elsewhere to avoid jailbreak and other further crises that the leak of information and nature of facility may cause to Ndi Anambra and Nigeria in general.
The Party Chieftain also used the opportunity to thank the most celebrated Governor of Anambra State and APGA Leader, Gov. willie Obiano for his giant strides in the way he has ensured that the projects in Anambra State has continued and his fiscal responsibility which has alienated Anambra State from the states who owe salary in this trying time when the economy of the country has declined. He stated that, "APGA has proven to be a party with the interest of Ndi Igbo at heart. He further urged the eastern states to embrace this political party as a platform to ensure that the Igbo's reap the dividends of democracy".
