What happened in Palmgroove, Onipanu area of Lagos State on Friday, 4th July 2014 is a show of shame by the so-called Nigerian soldiers.
It was heart-breaking to lose a soldier, not in war front but in the main road, we sympathized with the family of the deceased soldier that died in the motor accident, but I condemn the show of shame by the soldiers who started destroying properties and wound lives they have sworn to protect.
Just like what happend in Aba Abia state where a girl was abused by a soldier because he (the soldier) felt that the girl dressed indecently and had to get the girl naked and command a wheelbarrow pusher to start sucking the girls breast in public.
I believe that such an acts of the uniformed men that are been paid by tax-payers money should be called to order because many of the soldiers are abusing the fundamental rights of Nigerian citizens in the name of doing there duties.
If these kind of action is left unchecked it will damage the image of the nation among international communities.
Those who wear the uniform should know the earning of that uniform and respect the ethics of the call to serve and protect the nation and not to help in abusing it.
