Beauty in goodness

10 January 2014, 16:36 Jibunor George Chuks

God is the source of goodness and to every living being on the planet that claims to love Him must poses this quality (i.e Goodness).

To my greatest surprise so many people have not actually exercised this quality. Yet this people claimed to know God. A research was conducted and people who willingly and through act of charity gives are like 40%. And these people expressed how special it makes them feel after given. While 30% that gives, gives because they have too much and because they want to show up.

Remaining 30% don't give because they see no reason in given. We have many families that their children are not in the country because they are outside the country studying but still their parents still find it difficult to train their neighbors children. You ask, why do people find it difficult to do good, they see it as a big deal.

So many children out on the streets, no shelter, no education, no body to help. You ask, what are the rich men and women in the society doing to help solve this people's problem, nothing. Because everyone is only concern with his or her own's family. Nobody cares for anybody because they feel that all is well with them, forgetting that no one knows tomorrow. Everybody needs one another not minding how big or how small you are.

Life is created for everyone to live in and to share. I wonder if children who sell's things on the street if at all people do feel anything about them. This kids undergone's pains, cries all night, many raped, many without foods, clothing and many victims of rituals.

People put deaf ears on the issues of others, because its not their family's problems. What we have is never ours don't form with it. Anything you have is been giving to you so that you can use it to do good. We all must leave behind all these properties and all the wealth, so if you don't make use of it to help one another, what else do you wish to do with it. Hear this story: There was a certain woman, who was very ill and the neighbors took her to the hospital, the doctor demanded that they deposit #25000 naira before anything could be done.

But unfortunate enough the neighbors could not afford the up payment requested by the doctor. So they left and met a man of God of where the woman used to worship, then the man of God rally's around and was able to raise the #25000 naira. Then, he rushed to the hospital, enters into the doctor's office but he was told that the doctor is in the ward. He then quickly rushed to the ward, he got to the ward but unfortunately enough he was shocked when he saw them covering her. He couldn't believe it that the woman is dead after all the struggle of searching for money. So he walked closer to the woman's head side before she was about to be carried out, he held the pillow and to everyone's surprise some amount of money fell off from the pillow. After the money had been counted, it amounted to #25000 naira.

The man of God could not help it and dint know when he voiced out a course on the dead woman. Hmmm, bizarre. How can people chose to love money more than their own life. A man sold his kidney for some whopping sum of amount, what a shame. There is beauty in doing good

. All we have, are been giving to us so that we can use it to better our life and the lives of others. You don't do anyone favor by helping him or her but you are just exercising your duty on earth and it actually makes you feel great when you help someone in need, if truly its from your heart. Be your brothers, sisters and neighbors keeper. God bless us all as we carry out this tasks.
