Bible in hand while scouting for business partners

16 July 2012, 11:35

I couldn't be more clear when I refer to the House of Goods to mean a place of personal or collective business. By virtue of participation and reports gathered, I have witnessed most of what goes on behind the scenes in most of these Houses of Goods. Still wondering what I’m talking about? Alright, let me explain what I'm referring to.

Have you ever visited a place of worship and felt comfortable and at peace? Well, here’s the truth. When you attend a church where the Spirit of God is, which of course makes it a House of God, you will know it. As a child of God, your spirit will confirm it. If you are not, God's Spirit will convict you.

I write this piece with a saddened spirit, because what happened several millennial years ago is very much in vogue today. You are wondering what happened? Check the Living Archives of the Bible in Matthew 21:13. Looking at the motivation behind the running of most of these places of worship or House of Goods as I choose to call them, there are two things involved. One, that a man would try his hands at other means of income and discover none as an easy express to success and wealth. He decides that churching business is easy and viable and so opts for it. With a Bible in his hands while scouting for his business partners, he begins his mission of deceit.

Two, a man is genuinely called but along the line, he finds himself unequaled to the social status quo. He therefore abandons his calling and delves into business using his members as goods and/or services.

In the House of Goods, you are either a "Good", producing the cash and material resources, or you are a "Service", providing the manual labour. You could be either or both if you are to be recognized as an outstanding member. But the fact remains that when a “Good” has lost its value and can no longer produce cash or a “Service” is no longer on offer, you become as worthless as trash.

The one who runs a church with the intention of enhancing his social status through the offerings, tithes, seeds etc. soon gets frustrated when his Good’s and Service’s are not forthcoming and therefore seeks out means to induce their willingness to part with their cash… To be continued.
