In a legal,philosophical,theological,and moral discussions,corruption is the abuse of bestowed power or position to acquire personal benefit. Its noted to be power and behavioral recklessness for self aggrandizement,its the grand of all social pathological ravaging Nigeria.
Corruption has remained a bane on socio-economic and political advancement of Nigeria and has continue to undermine the effectiveness and efficiency of Nigeria leadership. . Ab'initio,significant subversion had characterized the political,legal,and economic system of the country.
Monopolistic power,conflicting incentives, absence of transparency, low wage(limited), injustice,selfishness,ethnicity,system of government, weakness of institution to checkmate Corruption,priority misplacement and culture of impunity had remained a constant encouragement to corruption.

The cancer of corruption had eaten deep the fabric of all sector in the country;Education, political,economic sector et all. In the education sector, corruption propelled students to seek distinction on a platter of gold devoid of struggle and has continue to erode the foundation of intellectualism, thought of invention and development insidiously in Nigeria.
Educational corruption is not limited to students but to those who render service of education,instead of engaging Students in more practical, they are being spoon fed with theories propounded by foreigners. Corruption encourages nonchalant attitude to students amidst the trader of knowledge in Nigeria education industry.
Financial recklessness and diversion of public fund for self gain characterized the economic sector Same way nepotism,favouritism,bribery,rice and chicken infrastructural politics, godfatherism, systemic rigging,and all other form of political culture of impunity characterized Nigeria political system.Nigeria judiciary is synonymous to injustice and compromised system.
must commend the war against corruption of the Buhari led administration,in same vein, its pertinent to note that president Buhari need to stop romancing the leadership alleged of running the nation into her political and economic woes. Many of whom names are very popular in the alleged 16 years mismanagement, alleged 16 years priority misplacement, and all other atrocities committed by the nation's leadership in the last 16 years of governance in Nigeria.
With the spate of things, we begin to ask, ...is Buhari fighting corruption or romancing corruption? Should war against corruption be a matter of noise? Can he do it all alone? Corruption isn't fought on the pages of newspaper or with media propaganda, its done by engaging the needed institutions to perform their duties. TALK LESS,TAKE ACTION!
Selective prosecution is inimical to true war against Corruption. . The war against corruption isn't a single soul effort but an effort in collectivity, institutions should be strengthened, transparency and justice should be encouraged. Its logical to note that corruption is inimical to socio-economic and political progress of a nation,if not properly managed will lead to a state of State failure.
