Cross and cross for heaven under the sun

21 July 2014, 11:57 Onyeji Dominic

Matthew 10:34-38 "Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in-law against her mother in-law. A man's foes shall be they of his own house. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me", said Jesus in jungle of old.

I do not need to explain or interpret anything for anybody here. Let me just say that I am too blunt because I am not ordinary. The word I speak are offensive; it makes people angry.

Truth is that I do not really intend to upset anybody. I am only a medium, a mouthpiece of divinity. The word I speak is not my own. If we ask me, I will say that the word is in my mouth like fire. It is the fire that makes people angry, not me. I do not have the power to refrain. It is just natural.

I said I do not have to explain because words of Jesus above are not sweet at all. We call it "bitter medicine" coated (hidden) in deep wisdom. It takes only the wise to understand the intricacy of messages in the verses above. A shallow and sheepish mind can never read any good meaning into the Word.

I have to quote Jesus here because most people did not understand what I meant in my previous article title, "WHO SAID THAT GOD IS NOT WICKED?" People who said that God is good are not wrong because they are not in my shoes. Maybe I should rather take them as downright ignoramus and unthinking fools in limbo of downhill. They know nothing about God and his doings. That is why they say that God is not wicked.

One thing that most people do not know is that I am an ardent lion of the jungle. I mean somebody needs to know where the shoe is pinching me. If we ask me, I will say that Jesus did not speak to everybody in verses of scriptures above. He spoke privately to a selected few in jungle of old. The people he addressed there were Supernatural Students (new intakes) of hermitage under the Sun. He spoke to them frankly and wisely in order for them to know that hermitage is a prison in the Supernatural. I know what I am saying here. I mean I am talking out of experience because I am one of the Supernatural students of hermitage in jungle.

One cannot understand me here if one has not read my book titled, "COLLECTION OF EPICS!" The five stories in the collection are stories of my life as a fantastic lion in jungle. One should just understand that lions like me are not meant for cage, cave or hermitage. That was one of the things that made me to question God. If he is not wicked he should know that at my age I need a woman to hold my hands closely. Yes! If I may ask! Why should a lion be locked up without love and caring? No family, no love, no brother, no sister, no mother, no father, no folk! No caring! Just forlorn and loneliness in hermitage for too long. I do not think that religious minds of nowadays know what it means to be a hermit. That is why I take them as downright mediocrities and myopic fools.

Let me remind us that I am not a mad man. I know what I mean each time I used my mouth bluntly in public; I know what I mean each time I said that fools are too many in religious places like churches and mosques. You hear them singing "Abraham's blessings are mine!" but you can never hear them singing or saying "Abraham's cross (suffering) are mine!" Everybody wants to get the blessings of Abraham but nobody wants the cross. That was what Jesus meant when said, "...carry your cross and follow me." Everybody has a cross to carry but majority in religious places are not bearing it in anyway. They are just there in limbo, chasing shadow in nothingness, aiming at mirage, longing and dreaming for miracle, blessing and Manna they did not work for. Sorry to the wasted lives and dreamers under the Sun! What I know is that Abraham had both cross and crown, and he could not have got the crown without bearing the cross for sake of heaven under the Sun. Reason!
