Does only one man act as a father?

18 December 2014, 21:29

Lagos - Our world will continue to get worst in as much as we don't think well of others and consider them as part of our lives. God created man in his image and likeness but few if any at all are the ones who know and believe that we serve only but one true God.

I doubt if many Christians, Muslims and pagans even believe in this! There is no love among parents, how then do they want their children to act peacefully outside their home. The homes have created more problems than the societies have created and can handle.

A child from a good home who have watched parents carefully and have learnt some certain virtues that the parents exhibits will always carry this to everywhere he or she finds him/herself. That's simple as ABC.

I watched one man who was badly beating his child because of his misconduct. We all know that in some cases, seeing and elder coming to the house at that particular time could be the saving grace or a rescue mission for that child at that time.

But this elder who came to the scene just to ask this man who was beaten the child up to blood rushing out turned to be the punching elder and was seen as an enemy by a fellow man like him. This was so sad, that he was asked if the boy was his son, if anybody called him to the matter. So disheartened that an elder could behave this way.

I ask again, training of a child, is it only for the biological parents? Is that how we will have a healthy community if that be the case? Let's hear you our esteem readers. God bless.
