It is an understatement in Nigeria today to say the everything is turning upside down, because everything is already upside down from the government to its citizens and we are all walking with our heads.
Gone are the days when you go to obtain a license for a gun purchased for protection measures. In a way that makes you a potential killer, but a licensed one, or have to join the armed forces because you want to sublimate your intention to kill in a socially acceptable way. In our country today, majority of the average citizens are licensed to kill.

In a country where the leaders are not concerned about the future of the upcoming generations, lives are not valued and precautions are not taken to ensure the survival of its progeny, it is not surprising when situations goes viral. In counties where everything is orderly, it is paramount that everyone is thoroughly evaluated and psychologically tested to know their ability as well as their capability to succeed in a particular profession before being afford the opportunity to study and be admitted into that profession.
That is why it is not uncommon when we hear the evil being perpetrated these days by our men in uniforms, dishing out guns to robbers, patrolling and protecting ritual killers and even some engaging in the robbery act itself. The most devastating is the frequent and incessant strike by the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), this is one evidence that clearly portrays that Nigeria is down the dungeon.
Medical practitioners were known to be the best valuers of life and to have passion for the preservation and well being of the human specie. But these days all we have is a group of people who want to wear the white overall and make money at all costs. The way patients are treated in General hospitals is very pathetic, from the doctors down to the nurses. Emergency mean nothing to them, many emergency patients would have made it alive if they were attended to on time. S
ocial support is zero and what was meant to be our rescue is become our ruin. All these anomaly points to the fact that we have the wrong people in the wrong profession, many of the doctors were meant to be butchers. Now there is outbreak of Ebola in the country and the doctors are on comfortable in their abode. It seems our doctors and nurses need to bag a degree in compassion before being admitted into the profession, but in a country where anything goes, once you obtain a certificate, you obtain a License to Kill. Now when you need a license to kill you don't have to join the armed forces or the Nigerian police, you could as well go to school.
