Ignorance of people in benighted jungle

01 July 2014, 07:55 Onyeji Dominic

"Biafra people ask to form a new government," said Chukwubuike Ukeagu. This is heart beat of the people. Everybody in the world knows that Biafrans are everywhere like scattered sheep without shepherd, and each of us has been longing to see Biafra liberated from Nigeria. It has been a burning desire and collective dream under the Sun.

I do not need to tell anybody that Biafrans (as a people) has right and privileges. Wise ones know that liberation and formation of government are our right. We have the privilege because freedom is due for Biafra. It is the right of the people. We were legally and duly entitled to our freedom after expiration of amalgamation in February, 2014. It remains our right, and the world knows it.

Truth is that people are not meant to "ask" for their right. It is their property (belonging) in nature, formality and jungle. We do not need to ask for it because it is our own - our property.

The problem is that the people of Biafra do not really know their rights. If we ask me, I will say it bluntly that ignoramus and mediocrities are too many among us, and they have refused to give chance to the wise who know. I mean majority of us do not know, and we do not allow those who know their onion. That is our major problem in Biafra. It is called "IGNORANCE OF A PEOPLE IN BENIGHTED JUNGLE!!!"

The point here is that the people cannot get their rights until ignorance is removed from the way. It is a big barrier in liberation process of Biafra, and it means that the people of Biafra have not learn their lessons in the process.

In actual fact, let me also add that formation of the government is a thing of formality, and there is no formality without official "head" for direction, control, planing and what have you. There has to be a single forum (cocos) that is generally recognized for round table discussion. If we ask the wise, they will tell us that Biafra is bound but Igbo is free. The bondage (captivity) does not permit Biafra to have an official cocos. It is Igbo that has right (freedom) to form a cocos on behave of Biafra, and the place for its formation is the palace of Ezendigbo gburu gburu. It means that government of Biafra cannot be formed outside the throne and palace of Igbo in general. That is the official ground for liberation and formation of government for Biafra.
