Leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ebonyi State Chapter Wednesday stormed the Ebonyi State Broadcasting Service, EBCC and chased staff away from their offices.
It was learnt that the EBBC staff shunned the industrial action embarked indefinitely by workers under the employ of the state government to press home their demand of full implementation of minimum wage.
They were also said to have boycotted the strike because Governor Elechi recently approved their weigh-in allowances.

The workers were said to have down tool following the Ebonyi State government refusal to fully implement the minimum wage which created bad blood between the labour union and Governor Elechi.
Also, the employers are asking the state government to pay them their September, 2011 salary which was ceased by the government when the workers defiled Elechi's "no work, no pay policy" which the governor implemented.
