Is Ebola and Obama the law of karma?

08 October 2014, 21:40 megamerife2009

Ebola, better known as Ebola Virus Disease or EVD, have been ravaging the world for the past six months.

The world in question is actually Africa, Western Africa to be precise. Liberia remains the highest sufferer of the disease. This has paralyzed their already comatose health system.

It would have remained a story for Nigeria, the world's most populous black nation and a suppose third-world country according to the West, until that fateful day on July 20th when the Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer flew into Murtala Muhammed International Airport with the virus. That singular act added Nigeria to the list of EVD positive countries.

The Western Powers, particularly the United States and its President, Barrack Obama looked on, playing politics with the lives of ordinary Africans, without offering much help. They must have thought that the disease couldn't enter the US.

The Federal Ministry of Health once requested for help form the US for an experimental drug developed by GSK but the request was verbally rejected by the White House, citing "not enough evidence or testing" for the drug.

There and then, the Ministry relayed and organized a courageous stand against the disease. Now, Nigeria is totally free of the disease. But same can't been said of the US.

On September 20th, another Liberian-American, (should I call them Carriers of Bad News?), took EVD to the US. Today, the US have joined the list. Let's watch them use the "untested" drugs on their citizens.

Its our turn to watch and see them perform their own miracle.

Maybe, the Law Of Karma is real after all.
