If you say the truth, they will fight you. But let me die for the truth than to wallow in darkness (lies). Some people still believe that Nigeria is one.
They know it to be false but they force themselves to believe the false because they are afraid of victimization. Victimization Don baff? No, victimization is dirty and it won't soil my stands. They mix federalism with nationalism , they know the truth But would rather die than to distinguish.
Listen, Nigeria is of federal status not national status. Ibo is a nation, Hausa is a nation. Yoruba is a nation. We all know this why deceive ourselves that Nigeria is one? Where is the spirit of oneness when an Ibo man commits a crime and it is reported in vanguard papers online, the Yoruba and Hausa people attack the Ibos as thieves, the headache of Nigeria? Where is the spirit of oneness when the other ethnic groups tag every Hausa person as Boko Haram?
Where is the spirit of oneness when we all take the Yoruba people as capricious and unreliable? We can never be one no matter How hard we try because an Ibo man will call himself a bunch of wisdom, other ethnics are fools, an Hausa man sees himself as the ruler of Nigeria because the British gave him the leadership while leaving the country, therefore, other ethnics are born for servitude.
Yoruba man sees himself as the best in education, therefore others are illiterates ; the people of Niger Delta will call themselves the treasure of the nation, therefore, others are living in barren lands. Come to think of it, is it well with the Niger Delta even as she claims to be in a treasure island?
Will Isoko man accept Anioma man? Will Ogoni man see an Ikwere man as somebody? No. No. No. And no. You see, we are in trouble.
