I wish to appeal to accredited journalists to please investigate why policemen are still mounting roadblocks at Naraguta and Babale along Jos - Bauchi road thereby embrassing the public and messing up the masses by receiving ten or twenty naira from commercial motorists and other less priviledged individuals despite the IGP's instructions.

Mostly, they use the recently distributed vehicles tagged "Safer High Ways" to carry out these banned activities. One wonders therefore, whether the Plateau State Police Command is exempted from the general instructions.
Or are the men of the command simply trying to undermine the positive 'change' intended by the present administration when it declared war on corruption.
