It's a man made world

25 August 2014, 14:16 Martin Beck Nworah

I have always made effort to find meaning in this meaningless world and my results continue to amuse me. Global recession,war,etc...are these things not man-made? Is this not a man-made world? When we talk about peace and war continue raging on, is it not humans who perpetrate all these dastardly acts? International fraud and economic recession,is not humans who are behind these systems? When one country is suffering from lack while the other is living in abundance,is it not the workings of humans?

A friend recently returned from a job interview and was lambasted by the interviewers. In their words(the company), he lacked creative abilities and cannot perform under pressure. Depressed and dejected by their assessment of him,he annoyingly left. On his way out,he met his old time classmate who coincidentally, is the C.E.O of the company. Long story short,he got hired and won the best staff of the month in July. One called him incompetent, another hired him for old times sack. In between, the company didn't complain or insist he won't be hired. The company? It is a mad-made system joooor. I have repeatedly refused to buy into the idea that the world will be balanced and everything will be okay. Provided humans run this system and this world,we ain't no where near balanced.

I try hard to live my life to the best of my comprehension. I try to see the humans behind these systems because they are the ones who make or mar our world. Companies don't run the world. Computers and smartphones don't.

Humans;greedy sons and daughters of Adam and Eve run this world. And so long as we are the ones in charge of events around here, inequality is one word that will continue to resonate. I can only try my best and leave a legacy before passing on to the other pallet.

It is a man-made world. We ain't going nowhere with all these things.

Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
