Let us work together this time to build a truly great nation

A pro democracy group, the League of Voters in Nigeria, has called on all Nigerians and political office holders to close ranks and work together so as build a truly great nation.

Speaking to news men in Abuja, the national coordinator of the group Dr. Benedict Bem Kokoiwen tasked the newly sworn in leaders to prove themselves worthy of the mandates given to them by the people and to work very hard while in office so that the generality of Nigerians will benefit from the democracy they have nurtured and sacrificed so much for over the years.

He tasked the leaders to make more sacrifices and think less of themselves and their loved ones so that they can contribute meaningfully to nation building. He enjoined Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or Party affiliations to come together so that together with their leaders, they will build a great nation.

In a message to Nigerians, the National coordinator tasked Nigerians to start thinking of what to do to prosper the country and make it safer for all its people order that what they can get from it as has been the experience in the past.

While congratulating the present leaders for assuming office, Dr. Benedict commended the former leaders that left office preceeding the swearing in of the present government for their wonderful services to the country and wish them well in their future endeavours.
