Let's act politics

16 October 2014, 12:30 Jibunor George Chuks

Politics is nothing else but pure acting. I have written many articles on politics of which many readers have criticised but have not given a clear point on why they criticised the article; no clear reasons at all. Yes as they say; everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. But better still, not to criticise people's facts if you don't have better facts to present to the general public. When Nuhu Ribadu left All Progressive Congress APC to People's Democratic Party PDP. Many people were like; why, why, we trusted him, why should he join PDP?

I was here, and I am still here, I laughed and told people to forget all of them because they are all the same. That some of them left one party to another is no longer something that should trigger the mind's of reasonable people in this country, because they know that is politics that they are simply acting and displaying. I must say this, they help the media to make money, create attention and distract the general public, so that people will forget the important things to discuss about.

Within such periods of their acting, vendors sells like pure water business. Shows upon shows on televisions discussing about the issues. But ask! What issues? Issues that don't matter, when there are better issues to discuss, but are left. Sule Lamido the governor of Jigawa State; is the latest one not to talk of other senators. Here are his comments after he left APC for PDP; APC are selection of entrepreneurs. Hmmm, so then, what was he doing there before if he is aware that is for entrepreneurs? Nigerians should wise up and give their mandates to anybody they are voting fore. Is better not to collect money and sell your vote, so that at the end, he or she will say;
I have paid them off. If you don't know, those are their comments after elections. Don't sell your vote, even when he or she did not do anything, in shame will he or she continue to wallow in. But your integrity and dignity will remain with you. I rest my comment for now. God bless you all.
