Meeting with "his excellency"

28 January 2014, 14:45 Jibunor George Chuks.

Life is a beautiful thing when you strive hard to achieve great things and fortunately at the end, things you had yearned for, eventually show up.

Now, looking at what you have gone through  you understand that the end justifies the means,  because  sorrows lasts all the night, but Joy comes in the morning and lasts forever.

Who can ever imagine meeting “his excellence”?

It  could be  the President or the Governor, that will change his or her entire generation? I might say from my perspective, that it will or could be a life changing moment.

That is exactly how life supposed to be- if you  ask me,  it’s as simple as ABC.  A certain “excellency” from one state,  ran into a woman who sells items on a stainless tray not worth more than 5 000 old woman which she uses to train her children.

On that fateful day, his “excellency” with his aids, were on a mission to inspect the environs when unfairly he instructed his boys to throw away the woman’s goods.  Power is good,  people use it to abuse and oppress people. This old woman wept and begged. Some weeks later, “his excellency” invited her to his mighty residence.

The woman set out and was ushered in to see his excellence. This was “his excellency” speech; “I invited you to my residence today, to offer an apology to you, to say that I am sorry for what I did and to implore you to dine with me today in my house; We, will eat on the same table and drink from the same wine on the same round table.”

Hmmm, what more can we not make out from this captivating and  touching story. The life of this woman and her household, never remained the same,  and definitely the life of “his excellency” never remained the same as well, because he had done something so great.

Let's learn from this “Meeting with His Excellency”. This will definitely help us all. God bless us all.
