Lagos - Prominent human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, who was abducted two weeks ago on the Benin-Auchi Expressway has been released.
According to a report on Raypower Radio, Ozekhome was freed by his abductors in the early hours of Thursday.
The station’s Benin correspondent who spoke with a lawyer involved in the case said Ozkhome is on his way to Lagos.
Ozkhome and three others were abducted August 23 after a shootout which left four policemen dead.
