Nigeria needs to invest deeply in technology

11 August 2015, 14:16

Other countries like the U.S, China invests in technology which provide technical tools for various activities in their countries and helps to improve security and also reduce risk in investment and terrorism. We are in the era of Technology and Information which is the key.

Currently, we are facing the increase in dollars and terrorism in Nigeria and so far, we have been putting all efforts to provide a good and better solution to these issues. But, we can afford to put all eggs in one basket. Why don't we get drones that should monitor the activities in our country.

Other countries are using drones to monitor and even using "War Drones" to fight terrorism without risking the life of their citizens. These equipment are available and also open source. If the country can provide drones to all states and have a body that is controlling these drones, and also getting relevant data from these drones, the security of the nation would provide good impact in the citizens and the country. We cant afford to rely on man power alone. This is the time we need more of technology, information and enhanced security tools for the military. For more information about these drones, refer to this site http://dronewars.net/aboutdrone/ and you will get a better idea of the picture.
