Pause for a moment and reflect

18 December 2013, 11:37 Jibunor George Chuks.

Take a look backward and forward to consider what you were able to have achieved and what you were not able to have achieved. Then, there could or there is every reason why you should take a pause for a moment

In so many occasions, people are always busy in acquiring wealth. Wealth that most at times they end up not enjoying it! For so many reasons this occurs that some may be dead, some still alive but find it difficult to enjoy their own wealth due to stinginess to oneself. In most families, the parents hardly see their children within the week but only on sunday's due to church. You see people walking on the main roads and you see them talking! Wondering to see who they are talking to, no one. Because they are discussing about their problems with only God knows who? but with no one.

As you will recall about an article which was published on the 11th of december titled “Sanity” it talked about a certain man of God that was adopted on the 4th of december just in front of his Church members outside his church. Thanks to God he has been released on the 15th of december, with them fulfilling the conditions given to them by the kidnappers. These are evils people perpetuates and yet most of them see it as a normal thing, after all, its all a race for survival.

We don't know our mission on earth, always on a rush to grow, finish school on time. Make money through any means without proper considerations. Get married, give birth, build houses, buy cars and enjoy life. How many people still take's a “pause” for a while, to look at their lives and to know where they are going to or where they are coming from? No on. Everyone in a rush, only God knows where we are all rushing to.

A moment of “pause” can not only be a permanent one, (i.e when death comes). But can equally be a time of rest, reflections on the things which you have done and the ones you've not (unto good deeds and bad deeds I mean). But if we fail to take this moment while we are still alive, it might come by force(i.e at death) which could or can be very dangerous for us. If at all, we can give ourselves this moment of “pause” surely we can be able to correct our mistakes and be able to understand our purpose in life. God bless us.
