Plea to the federal government

09 September 2014, 12:18 Jibunor George Chuks

How many of us know this! I don't want to believe that our dear government watched and fold their hands when millions of young Nigerians was robbed in broad daylight in their own country by the group of some people from immigration. Closely to a year now, when all corners of internet service cafe centres; wrote's on their notice boards.

The caption is: Are you applying for immigration job, qualifications, O'Level, Diploma, OND, HND, BSc etc. Come and register now''. Many young innocent jobless, low less income, both young and old Nigerians were moved to pay in sum of #1000 naira to some designated banks across nationwide in the country. Hmmm, bizarre.

Not millions but billions was made from the process. We are still in dark because we don't know where all that money went into. We are still in the era were those whom we entrusted power into  their hands, do whatever they please. Where is the money? Where is the job of immigration? We are no longer talking about those that lost their lives in the process. Its only a fool that will verge for someone who has a responsibility of taking care of the living, and he fails; what then do you think he can do for the dead! Absolutely nothing. What has been the penalty for those who organised to rob the masses of their #1000 Naira which can provide food on their table for two good days?

Only in Nigeria you can be asked to pay huge sum of money before you will be given a penny job of #30000 Naira. I am sorry to say this, but if this administration in power can not provide those money stolen from the innocent Nigerians or provide the jobs for them as promised! I am afraid, peace will be very far from them! You know, there is no peace for the wicked as written in the Holy bible. Why because that act was a wicked act. Robbing the poor of their penny to get more richer. This is a plea to the federal government on that issue. I was troubled to write this article because the act is so dishearten and inhuman. God bless the government, all Nigerians ask they adhere to this plea.
