Political saga in Nigeria

19 November 2014, 21:25

Politics, which is as old as man emanated more than a millennium ages ago from the ancient Greece. The Greek word 'polis' meaning city state was commonly used at the time. With time, a Greek philosopher-Aristotle- a distinguished student of Plato applied the politics, to him, this word could be used to describe the affairs of men in the city states. As time goes on, this term came to be as great relevance to many thinkers like Herold Aswell who defined it as 'He who get what, when and how'. To David Easto 'politics is the authoritative allocation of scarce resources of a country (Nation). Politics in Nigeria has turned to something else, it is now seen in this part of the world as a means of power tussle which involves killing of people in order to acquire political positions. People die day by day, the Northern Boko Haram bombing and taking of innocent people's souls daily if examined critically is politically manipulated.

The game (politics) has become people's daily activities with unthinkable evil ideas and plans towards execution, those who are known as political elites now see their public or political positions as their great grand father's potion of land (office), they via for as money more years they want to rule and the masses will ignorantly vote them into power just because of the love of money. The resources of the state has now been turned into the resources of the big class, innocent poor children suffer day by day because of hunger and diseases in our nation, graduates roll the street every day in search of work to no avail else you have a political god father. The question now becomes 'Is Nigeria striving to grow to the level of a developed country or is she adopting more backwards strategy as an underdeveloped Nation towards success? The churches which is suppose to serve as a welcome pointer of man to God has now become a guy men political arena of Coiling out money from poor people by fake political pastors who do many form of atrocities to deceive man into their deceptive money making camp (called church). If the truth is to be told, what we need in this period of time is for God to come and destroy the world and take His people because the situation of things has become out of hand.
