Politicians are like magicians

12 June 2015, 12:16 Shola Anjorin

Politicians are like magicians whose built castle in the air, but in real world homeless. Whoever uses the rainfall of Nigerian politicians to plant its seed does so at his peril.

After rain, come shining. But in Nigeria, after rain is comes cold. Most politicians had put their people in hostage after elected. But thank God, Nigerians at last, expressed their mind through ballot in the last presidential election, while the moody and thunderous agog that beclouded the transition was a testament and the reflection of people's will. But the question before us now is, can the new president lives up to expectation?

While I will leave posterity and time to judge the new government, I will like to remind Mr president that Nigerians need little from his administration. Little in the sense of surviving in the socio-economic travail, little in sense of provision of basic necessity (electricity, jobs, roads), little in the area of curbing or fighting corruption, etc. By and large, PMB should stick to his campaign promises.

For him to retain his image and having a befitting place in history, he should not renege or distracted from his plan to fight corruption to the halt. The name Muhamodu Buhari depicts; Anti-corruption, disciplined, upright, spotless, etc and we hope to see these displaying at the shore of his administration. This will make him Muhammadu Buhari that we all know!
