Kabba/Bunu local government SURE-P beneficiaries are 109 that were conveyed to Lokoja On the 6th of February 2014 for data capturing at Access bank where our passport photographs were collected, 32 out of these were 2013 beneficiaries that were to be retained, the remaining 77 were fresh beneficiaries that were used to replace the un-serious ones. On the 12th of February 2014, we were posted to different places of of work ranging from hospitals, maternity, secondary schools, ministries, palace and even mortuaries, and we have been working till this very moment, ever since that February, 77 of us that served as replacement have not received a penny which is supposed to be N10,000 monthly. Every effort to get our stipend has been a futile exercise, as recently we mobilised ourselves than to SURE-P office at Lokoja and every effort to see appropriate authority to address our plight proved abortive, as we were told that the Kogi state SURE-P chairman is not always available. We are using this medium to appeal to every concerned and good citizen of this Country to sympathize with us and come to our aid.
