Senate house are for the failures

22 September 2014, 20:33 Jibunor George Chuks

What is our politics all about in this country? Its a mediocrity of our people who don't have any shame. What are the duties of the senate in the country? Why have some individuals earned themselves a permanent seats at the senate? Very well, the senate is ran at a very cost rate but yet we have some individuals in this country who have made the senate as a point of duty or as a permanent place. This is bizarre.

Poor civil servant wages, yet we run's an expensive government such as senate. What is minimum wage? When some senate members with fake waec certificates collects maximum wages. Yes I will say that the constitution of this country is only for the rich and the politicians. Again and again, why are the governors running for the senate? I must say; any governor who has done well in his state, don't have any other business of going to the senate. Yes of course, no good reason whatsoever.

Its the duties of the failed governors and of those who have deteriorated their states and have embezzled the funds of the states to run to the senate. Their aim of going to the senate is for immunity. Senate is a place to hide criminals. PDP governors find this very convenient and is common to everyone of them.

Dr Chris Ngige the former governor of Anambra state  from APC or then CPC has equally done that too. So, don't quote me wrong because I mentioned one party but its for all politicians. Must we continue in this despicable way of life of lies. Where are the conscience of people? Many failed governors are counting down to 2015 so that they can easily step in to the senate house! But for what sake! What reason! What mandate? God is watching us all. Any part of the constitution that has provided that avenue for such caricature ruling is a very bad and wicked one.

A common man can not context for that seat and wins it, especially when his or her governor from the same constituency is coming out for the same position. So dishearten. These individuals are shameless, yet they parade themselves out in the worship places. We can never get it right if we don't fix these problems. How then do we cry of corruption when what we do as government is corrupt practices. May God deliver us.
