Nigerians are fully aware of corruption and corrupt practices going on in almost all the sectors and agencies both government and private. Nigerians are also aware that due to the high level of corruption in the country we cannot longer curtail insurgency in the country.
I cry for the common man who has no armed guard, s man who has no bullet proved car, no bullet prove door or fence over his head as a result he is either killed, chased, or have his mud house burnt down. One question that baffles me is this; how many governors, senators, security chiefs are found among the displaced persons in Nigeria today? We all know and believe that, a corrupt security system in a corrupt country cannever fight insurgency.

If the issue of corruption cannot be addressed then, the common man who is always at the receiving end should be allowed to defend himself, hence it's said that, security is not a one man business or else one day we will wake up only to discover that the defenceless who are mostly the aged, women, children and the armless are wiped out of life leaving only the armed men who are either the authority or the insurgents.
Today you will discover that the authority who are armed to defend the defenceless turns against them leaving the insurgents having a feastday in the abodes of the common men, such is the present cases in Nasarawa, Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states. GEJ has tried but is high time a common man should be allowed to defend himself in a situation where there no one to defend him. Herdsmen and suspected mercinaries have invaded and taken over communities in Nasarawa the hosts were prevented from engaging or confronting by the state government. May God help us in Nigeria.
