In the wake of the most contested presidential elections in the country, there awaits the final reports from the crash scene of the Germanwings plane. Incident investigations and recovery efforts are ongoing even as families and sympathizers grieve deeply.
This is first of its kind, fully blown with high level media coverage, on a pilot deliberately crashing a plane with 149 people on board. Now investigations reveal he had psychological illness back in 2009 with suicidal tendencies. Black box and cell phone analysis clearly reveal he refused to open the cockpit door for the chief pilot who went out earlier to use the convenience. My question is why would he want to take down a lot of people with him on his suicide mission? This indeed will make a lot of air passengers to question air safety as crashes are becoming prevalent. Maybe I should have title this article 'The Airplane, The Pilot And The Passenger'
The cry is far from over......
