The life I choose

14 July 2014, 11:15 Jibunor George Chuks

Everyone has the right to choose the life he or she wants. God gave us one ultimate gift which is the gift of 'Freedom'. Many has turned this upside down by feeling that any lifestyle they adopt will lead them in the right path, but the opposite is the case because some lifestyle simply leads to destruction. Freedom is good especially when you understands the role at which it plays in human life. But this has been discovered that too much of freedom often leads to wrong choices and decisions.

Let's quickly look at this story of a young vibrant guy who when he was in 300 level in the university was convinced to join an occult group and he willingly joined by given them what he wants from them. His bargain was for the cult to make sure that he graduate's from the university with a good grade. This were what he wants and he joined them in return for a good grade. All things been smooth and perfectly ok, he graduated from the university with his desired grade. Deed his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), immediately as he finished serving, he got a very good job with a house, allowance, a choice of chosen any place in the world for vacation and an official car. Three (3)days after, he came back from work and decided to take a rest and he slept off, and never woke up. That was the end of story for him. Who will now tell that this young guy traded his life with the occult kingdom in other for him to have graduated with a good grade. The life he choose was to graduate with a good grade from the university and to pay after with his life. How long he enjoys it does not mattered to him. Hmmm, terrible and bizarre.

Who will tell people that some lifestyle they chooses at times leads to nothing but to destruction. Many chose to make wrong decisions about life simply because they want to prove themselves to the society that yes they belong. Yes we have the freedom of chosen what we become in life, but we should not forget that minor choice we make because of liberty will damage and destroy our life. Just as many have chosen to be agent of violence in the country. These things has no meaning in life. Do not destroy your life by the choice you make by chosen the wrong things of life. If you destroy your life, be rest assured God will destroy you. God bless us.
