The naked reality show

14 November 2014, 19:34

Looks like our dear beloved brothers and sisters are going to turn into super stars; but through what means? If I must say this, poverty have made Africa to depreciate into this low level that has seen the wealthy people taken advantage of the poor in what they call a game or a reality show. Like a movie titled ''Hunger games'' where people are been thrown into the forest to kill themselves all for the pleasures of the rich. And you ask! Who are this people killing themselves? no one else but the poor masses, whereas the game planners are the wealthy ones who have fixed cameras around the whole forest just to enjoy and watch as the poor kill themselves. BBA known as Big Brother African; this reality show has been nothing but just as hunger games. Don't misquote this but ask again. To what aim is BBA, is it for moral acts or immoral acts?.

A family who rejoiced that their daughter or son was among to participate for this show and ends up seeing something different as the reality show kicks off. All the family sited at the sitting room relaxed to watch their daughter, son, brother or sister, tuned on to the show at the favourite channel; all you could see is your brother or sister naked on air bathing with other people from different countries. Oh to what is this! What is the value of this? This is just like seeing your brother or sister bathing in a stadium of more than 20billion fewer watching. There is no joy to this, where our youths are been striped naked to the whole world because of any sort of price and you call it reality show. The whole world downloads this, because Big Brother Africa choose to put this up for downloads. So bizarre. There is no honour, value, pride, joy, love and good intention to this if we must tell ourselves the truth. God bless. By Jibunor George Chuks.
