The trumpet

30 April 2015, 12:21 Jibunor George Chuks

When things happens, many people begin to lay blames or considering had it been it was done this way or the other way. Don't get too excited or too moody about life because no one will live forever on earth. The trumpet is a sound that changes the tempo of the human body to the position that the mind chooses as it has been blown during the presidential elections. As we have had tensions in the country for few weeks now because of the presidential elections.

It came and now it's a history which for decades will be spoken off. Many factors affected the elections of which that many of us are aware. Man setting manipulations and so on, but at last results were obtained and a winner was declared. In considering this, I must in the best way that I can discuss about president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan known as GET. A man many considered as weak but to me I could say he is a man with gentle heart and mind. This man might have not worked as expected but he has written his name in the historic book of ''Democratic Legacy''. I am a being who don't believe in human role models if not, president GET and late Nelson Mandela Adiba could I have adopted as my role models.

But Jesus Christ is my role model. He is leaving office in May as a true hero and light of a true democracy. Simple fact is that, the country has been ungovernable through with the insurgency in the country since he won in 2011. He might have used the best techniques to fight insurgency in the country but because of human differences and imperfections it lingered to the length it reached. I quote; he is a man of integrity, honour, courage, peace and love. Africa and the world will continue to remember and use him as a positive reference.

He is not a coward as I have heard many complain bitterly because of his loss. I owe you great respect sir because you have a true human spirit and feelings. I look forward to see other aspiring leaders to tap from your democratic example. The change which we hear and read is just a word which can mean positive or negative things. We look forward to see positive change from the new leaders to come in few weeks to come. Once more, congratulations to General Muhammadu Buhari known as GMB. Long live GET. ...... Long live president elect GMB. .. Long live Federal Republic Of Nigeria. God bless.......!
