The youths of this country are busy with their social media while the government are happily enjoying the state at which the youths are. The government show's no interest in the business of the youth. Because they all know that they have sidelined and isolated the youths into a zone of ''I don't care attitude'' ''e no concern me''. That is the idea, a perfect one for that matter.
Reasons; because they all know that during the election period, they will all get the jobless youths back to vote for them. The youths of this country needs a systematic change. Time to wake up and take every position in the country. No wonder, the constitution states that; before you will context for the post of president, that you must be up to 40 years and above and equally married. I ask, to what criteria and on whose interest is this so-called constitution protecting; let's not claim we don't know, but the interest of the old men and women who have sworn to die in power.

Everyday by day, the youths of this country continues to suffer from the greed and wickedness of those in power. One(1) good year was stolen from the life of polytechnic students. Same, six(6) months was equally stolen from the life of the university students last year. What they want and say is that ''let them be, we will get them when we need them''. Just imagine, if the average youths of this country are working and receiving good salary; its a no go area for the politicians because how many of such youths can they buy with their stolen money during election? I laugh, because it will never take them to those positions they are looking for.
Last presidential general election recorded about 24 million votes for the winner while the second position had half of it. Ok, let's take the statistics now. We are about 170 million, and among this figure, the youths shares about 60 percent of the figure but those that participated during the election are not more than 10 percent. This automatically shows that less number of youths are the ones participating in the election process of the country. I went round during the permanent voters card registrations which were been conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). During the process, I was opportune to ask some youths some questions about the I.D card. This is what they have to say; we are only doing it because we want to use it in the opening of bank accounts incase if the banks request's for ID cards. Some; we are doing it for doing sake, not for anything else. Can you just imagine. That is the state the government wants the youth to be so that no youth can challenge them in their backward leadership. Social media can only cause more harm to the younger generation of the youths of this country. The youths need to wake up and take their positions in the government, only through that can this country be transformed. God bless you all.
