Top 5 candidates for the Premier League Highest goal scorer

With much emphasis lay on attack in the premier league this season, we take a look at the candidate for the top scorer award.

1. FALCAO: The Colombia International who play for Manchester united, has form the habit of scoring goals in his career to date, he scored 104 goals in 139 appearances for Porto, A Madrid and Monaco combine. He is a born poacher, blessed with great first touch, close control, killer instinct and ability to score with both feet.

He missed the World Cup because ACL injuries he sustains in a league game at Monaco, a goal and two assist is not a bad return for a new player in the EPL, and when he gets used to the premier league fully he will take it by storm.

So Terry, Koscielny, Lovern, Jagielka, and Cahill should watch out because he loves to score important goals, like his hat trick against Chelsea in the Super Cup.

2. RVP:  The winner of the award on two occasions, No premier league player has scored more league goals than him in the last four seasons with 69 goals to date and holds the record of 65 EPL goals by Non English player in the EPL.

He is known for his ability to find space and utilize his movement to a greater effect, though injury has taken his part in reducing his speed to some extent, but you can bet on him to be up there on the scoring chat come the End of the season

3. STURRIDGE:  With Suarez gone, all the goals must shoulder by sturridge for Liverpool this season, Last season he won Liverpool 20 point in the EPL more than any other player for their side. He was the first player to score 7goals last season and the leading EPL goals score in 2014 with 13 goals. He has scored 33 goals in 44 league matches for Liverpool till date.

Blessed with dribbling skilled, ability to take on player and pace to run at defenders, with his unbelievable goal radio (138.8), 5th best min per goal rate in EPL history you can be sure of goals in the coming matches for Liverpool in the EPL this season.

3. AGUERO:   Strong on the ball, pace and good finisher of half chance. He has scored nine goals in his last eleven EPL away games, He won Manchester city the EPL on the final day of the season in 2011/ 2012 season with what has been the most important goal of his career till date

Injury permit he will score many more goal and with David Silva providing thenecessary through balls, you can be certain he will finish them all with minimal fuss.

4. COSTA: Nine goals already for the Brazilian born Spanish player in his first (Seven) EPL appearance in just his (eleven) shot on target and the only player to score in each of his first four EPL games.

At this rate, he’s projected to score 66 EPL goals breaking Dixie Dean’s 86 years old record and with the Craft man Cesc Fabregas  providing the much needed assist, Costa is the Number one Candidate for the EPL highest goals scorer Award.
