Vacancy for Messiah in Biafra!

12 November 2014, 13:32 Onyeji Dominic

Once upon a time!!! The people of Biafra gathered before King Pilate in judgment. I was with them there in the realm and my ears were not closed. I paid a careful attention as a wise one and to my great surprise, I heard them shouting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"

In actual fact, it was known to King Pilate that the people's destiny was based on choice. That was why he had to present Barabbas, the bandit a.k.a director of a Biafran forum known to us as RBL.

According the wise King, the people are free moral agents in life. The Jesus was therefore, presented as an option together with the Barabbas who was also an option. I looked very well as an erudite seer from East where the Sun rises. The Jesus I saw was Raph Uwazurike of another Biafran forum called MASSOB. "To hell with Jesus of Biafra! Crucify him! Barabbas, the bandit, is our choice," said the people of Biafra in the realm of jungle.

One may wonder why I have to say this openly. If one is frank and sincere, one will remember that I wrote a rhetorical article titled, "WHEN SHALL JESUS OF BIAFRA RETURN FROM HEAVEN???" It was given out to us and the feedback revealed that it attracted a wide audience. Majority of us (Biafrans) read it freely in several media. The message was presented in simple words of wisdom. There was none of us who did not get it. We read my mind but we did not take it from me when I said that Uwazurike died in wicked and benighted minds of the majority - Biafrans. That is why I have to come up again to address us in this regards.

Precisely, it will be wrong for me to say that Uwazurike is the only Jesus in Biafra. We know it that people who can serve as Jesus are still plenty in life. We had them in the past, and we also have them in this present time. The images, portraits, pictures, drama and movies are so many in religions. We see them as objects for veneration especially in the Roman Catholic. They are equally available in markets for us to buy for both entertainment and worship under the Sun. If we check it out, we will see that the character in Bible was specifically called Jesus of Nazareth, not Jesus of Biafra or Jesus of the Universe. He came to save only his village people - the Nazareths.

Therefore, I am using this as a medium to make public suggestion to us - Biafrans. I mean it is obvious that we have rejected Uwazurike as our Jesus. Everybody knows it, and it implies that the office of Jesus is vacant in Biafra. That is it. A simple suggestion to us in Biafra!

Please, let nobody get me wrong if I say it that Jesus is needed in Biafra. It is vital. We truly have the need. Somebody should apply for the post of Messiah, Savior, Liberator or freedom Fighter. It is called Vacancy for Messiah in Biafra under the Sun.
