We've turned into a amusement country

08 September 2014, 14:24 Jibunor George Chuks

Nigeria has turned into what other countries sees as a laughing object. You know, there is a saying, which says: Its only the house mouse who tells the outside mouse that there is fish in the house. I can remember that just last week, a whole Lesotho refused to come to Nigeria for their qualification match with our boys junior team.

This resulted in them been disqualified from the qualification thereby handing automatic qualification to our boys. Ghana, rumoured of banning their flights from entering Nigeria. South Africa has equally pronounced that. Not to compare many awful treatments given to our Nigerian people in other countries all because of Ebola Virus Disease brought by Sayer.

Recently, the US donated what they called ''Bomb Proof Kit'', to the Nigerian Police Force(NPF). Hmmm.  I am still wondering, if that bomb proof kit is that authentic, why then haven't the US used it in their missions in all the countries they seem to be doing their peace mission?. Still thinking, if this so-called ''Bomb Proof Kit'' is to work! So, the police will be wearing it up and down in their offices thus, knowing that were this attacks are been carried out is were normal civilians are living! Still thinking; will this ''Bomb Proof Kit'' be provided for the civilians?

Of what use is it then if its only meant for the Nigerian Police Force(NPF) who is only on patrol in the remote areas but not villages and equally stays at their stations? Why can't we think. Who are the victims of insurgents in this country; the military, the police force or the common civilians? Why are they, the government still deceiving the masses? I am still thinking again! Why haven't the US army that has been in the country for God knows when, for the rescue mission of the supposed to be adopted ''Chibok girls'' use this so-called ''Bomb Proof Kit'' to rescue those girls? The government should not continue to sell us out to these white people who don't see anything good in black men and women only as their amusement toys. God bless Nigeria.
